CleanPlex® amplicon-based SARS-CoV-2 NGS kits are designed for Coronavirus research and surveillance, enabling complete genome sequencing of the SARS-CoV-2 virus responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emerging Variant Panel Add-on v2 primers are used in conjunction with the original SARS-CoV-2 Kit or FLEX Kit and serve to add on to the initial Emerging Variants Add-on with even more robust coverage of emerging variants such as delta, mu, and the most recent omicron (including the sub-lineages BA.1, BA.2, BA. 2.12.1, BA. 2.75, BA.3, BA. 4, and BA.5.) variant for confident calling as the virus mutates.
