ParagonDesigner™ simplifies your targeted sequencing panel design, giving you instant insights into amplicon coverage for your genes or genomic regions. Easily query pre-designed genes, submit custom panel requests, and get expert support to refine your assays with precision.
How To Submit Your Design Using Our Online Portal
1. Create an Account
- Visit our design portal: Paragon Genomics Design Portal
- Register for an account.
- Once registered, go to the submission page: Submit Your Design.
2. Select Your Design Parameters
- Chemistry Selection: Choose CleanPlex, CleanPlex UMI (with molecular barcodes) or AgriType, depending on your application.
- Organism of Interest: Select the relevant reference genome (e.g., human hg19 or hg38).
- Design Type: Choose either Hotspot (SNP) or Region-based design.
- Amplicon Size: Standard size is 275bp, though other options are available.
- Target Material: Select whether your design is for DNA or RNA.
- NGS Platform & Read Length: Specify the platform and read length required for sequencing.
3. Enter Target Information
- Provide a list of gene symbols manually or upload a .txt BED file (guidance is available on the portal).
4. Submit Your Design
- Name your design and provide a description.
- Fill in project and contact details.
- Read and accept the Design Service Agreement.
- Click “Submit Design.”
5. Review & Approval Process
- A design ID will be assigned upon submission.
- You will receive a notification when the design is ready. Simple designs are typically ready within a few days. More complex designs can take up to two weeks.
- Review your design package and approve or request modifications before synthesis begins.
6. Modifications & Final Approval
- Up to two free modifications are allowed before oligo synthesis.
- Additional modifications (beyond two) require review, approval, and may incur fees.
- To minimize delays, make sure your initial submission aligns with your final scope.
7. Oligo Synthesis & Turnaround Time
- Once synthesis begins, panels typically ship within three to four weeks.
